Dr. Kevin Reilly and Dr. Mark Snyder to be
recognized as 2013 Healthcare Leaders

Wellington Orthopaedic & Sports Medicine is excited to announce that Dr. Kevin Reilly and Dr. Mark Snyder will be honored as HealthCare Leaders at a luncheon this Wednesday, May 15th at the Cintas Center.

The Healthcare Leadership Award aims to honor industry professionals who improve, not only the everyday lives of their patients and colleagues, but their community as well. Honorees strive to increase the quality of life while working toward the progression of a healthier world.

Dr. Kevin Reilly, along with three of his brothers (Dan, Gerry and Eugene), who are also physicians and being recognized, states “I consider it a significant and humbling honor and privilege to serve patients in need. Despite the stresses and ever increasing challenges of the business of medicine, I continue to find the practice of orthopaedic surgery very fulfilling.”

Dr. Mark Snyder is a nationally known physician who consistently gives back to the community. He is the Director of the Orthopaedic Center of Excellence at Good Samaritan Hospital, which in 2011 received the area’s first Gold Seal Award from the Joint Commission for excellence in total hip and knee replacement. There he collaborates with other joint reconstructive surgeons to improve the safety, endurance, and clinical outcomes in total joint replacement surgery. Dr. Snyder added “It is gratifying to be recognized for your service in the healthcare industry as well as in the community.”

All of the leaders were nominated by their peers in the community. The Healthcare Leadership committee was established and winners were chosen from all nominations received. Winners were selected based on their leadership experience, position within their company and how they make a difference in our community.

The Healthcare Leadership Luncheon will take place Wednesday, May 15th at the Cintas Center at 11:30am and will feature Dr. O’dell Owens, President of Cincinnati State & Technical College, as the the keynote speaker.
