Nicholas A. Early, M.D.

Dr. Nicholas A. Early is a board-eligible orthopaedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine and arthroscopic surgery. A native of Cincinnati, Dr. Early completed medical school at University of
Cincinnati College of Medicine. He went on to pursue internship and residency at Cleveland Clinic Akron General. After his residency, Dr. Early completed a fellowship in Sports Medicine at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center.

During his training, Dr. Early had the opportunity to work at Level I trauma centers as well as take care of athletes of all ages and all levels of competition. He has served as an assistant team physician for The Ohio State University varsity athletics including Buckeye football, the Columbus Clippers Triple-A Cleveland Indians affiliate, as well as working with numerous high schools and high school athletes. He has an interest and extensive training in cartilage restoration surgery of the knee and complex reconstructive surgery of the knee and shoulder. He is currently the team physician for New Richmond High School.

He has presented research at numerous local, regional, and national meetings and has authored a number of peer reviewed publications. He is a candidate member of the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine (AOSSM) and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS). When not busy with work, he enjoys spending time with his wife, family, and dog, hiking, camping, and traveling.
