Mark J. Yuhas, M.D.

Dr. Mark Yuhas, MD is a board eligible orthopaedic surgeon who specializes in hand, wrist, and elbow conditions. He is a graduate of University of Pennsylvania where he majored in biology. He completed medical school at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine. Dr. Yuhas was given the opportunity to complete his orthopaedic surgery residency training at the University of Kentucky. His fellowship in hand and microsurgery was completed at the distinguished Christine M. Kleinert Institute in Louisville, Ky.
His experiences include a variety of Level I orthopaedic trauma in adult and pediatric population as well as sports injuries in high school and collegiate athletes. Dr. Yuhas was involved in multiple research projects and presentations during his residency, including a special interest in upper extremity motion analysis at Shriner’s Hospital for children in Lexington, KY. Training during his fellowship included extensive exposure to all aspects of the hand, wrist, and elbow pathology. These include degenerative conditions of the hand, wrist, and elbow, nerve disorders such as carpal tunnel and cubital tunnel, upper extremity trauma, wrist arthroscopy, and microvascular surgery.
Dr. Yuhas is a candidate member of the American Society of Surgery of the Hand (ASSH). He is involved with public education committee of the ASSH. He is also a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS).
Dr. Yuhas is from a small town in west-central Pennsylvania, raised by a special family placing an emphasis on obtaining an education and helping others. He has always been involved in sports and played collegiate basketball for the University of Pennsylvania. His interests outside of work include spending time with his wife and two young boys, fishing, enjoying the outdoors, playing basketball, and following college basketball.
Dr. Yuhas is excited to call the Cincinnati area home and looks forward to learning more about his patient’s through their individual stories and experiences. Listening to patients, making their day better, and treating them as a member of his own family are principles that Dr. Yuhas tries to follow each day in his practice.
